Swim Around the Rock

An elite open water swim competition

On Saturday, July 18th 2009 Water World Swim will host the fouth annual round trip Alcatraz swim at the Aquatic Park, San Francisco, CA, USA. This swim will be a challenge for fast swimmers requiring a very strategic race plan. The spectacular 3.25 mile course will include changing tides and fast currents around the Rock. Excellent open water preparation for the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

The Swim Around the Rock event will be the training ground for competitors for the Olympics. Some of these world's best open water swimmers are expected.
