Water World Swim, LLC has created a new challenge for the fastest swimmer from all around the world on September 18, 2011!

Water World Swim has organized this swim to give the chance to those that want to prove to the world, they can swim from Alcatraz, truly showing their open water experience. This idea was born after last year's swim from Alcatraz in honor of the Chilean miners and the swim with the U.S.Air Force cadets. We at WWS saw the talent and the thirst for many of these great swimmers to show among fewer swimmers from all over to demostrate their swimming skills and training. Your swim will be dedicated to acknowledge those swimmers that have trained for years to compete and to inspired so many others. How is that for some added inspiration to compete and win? A group picture will be taken before the swim which we hope will be shown in the media around the world those first that took this challenge seriously to inspire many generations of swimmers to come to the San Francisco Bay, to demostrate their best in the sport of open water swimming.

Coffee and Chilean empanadas will be served after the swim .
